Dreams Don't Work Until You Do

 With thoughts surrounding every corner of your mind, everyone needs a getaway. Mine, is poetry.

I put down my thoughts and ideas as poem or songs and it finally feels like I'm thinking rationally because my thoughts have a rhythm. A few years ago, when I was 10, I wrote a poem about achieving your dreams and working really hard. And since it inspired me, I thought that it should inspire more......

It's called - 

Dreams don't work until you do

Sometimes life may give you a shock,

But we must be stronger and as resilient as a rock,

Everyone wants happiness, no one wants pain,

But you can't really have a rainbow without a little rain,

Sometimes we may think that dreams don't come true, but they do

Cause dreams don't work until you do.

All that happens, happens for good,

But before shooting your arrow, just take a look,

We know that there's no elevator to success

But it's unfair that the stairs only have one address

Hard Work - that is. It helps in every situation coming through

And dreams don't work until you do.

The game of life starts just when you get in it

Also know that you are your only limit

A tree grown with hard work, produces the sweetest fruit

Cause dreams don't work until you do.
